What is USDC and why Base?
USDC is a digital dollar (1 USDC is about $1), issued by Circle. Base is a fast, cheap network: you sign an authorization from your wallet and pay no gas.
Do I need an account?
No. After your first top-up you get a personal key: it stays on this device and you can copy it anywhere. Whoever has the key can spend the credit, so keep it safe.
What does an answer really cost?
For long answers, with the models served by our cheapest supplier, half of the maker's official price for the tokens used. Short answers save less: some providers charge a minimum per answer and, when that minimum is above the official price of the answer, you pay our cost with no margin, so more than the official price (it happens mostly with the cheapest models). The exact price, with the official price for comparison, is under every answer.
What if the model does not answer?
The reserved credit becomes available again: you only pay for delivered answers.
Where do my chats go?
They stay in this browser only. The text you send goes to the model's provider to produce the answer and is not stored by us.
Can I use it with Cursor, n8n or Open WebUI?
Yes: the same key works with any OpenAI-compatible tool, base URL https://modelaccessgateway.com/v1. Note: from external tools each request costs the provider's full quote for the maximum tokens requested, unlike the site chat, which charges the tokens really used.
